Another critic said he did manage to punch Mr Boll in the face a couple of times, calling it revenge for Boll's latest film, BloodRayne, a vampire flick starring Ben Kingsley.

From what I understand he is actually an amateur boxer and the conditions for inclusion in this little PR stunt meant that anyone he faced would be smaller than he is.

This article makes Boll's dishonesty and the unfairness of the conditions made known...

Man, I waltzed right into this thread not even considering that the "beating" was literal.

In retrospect, I can't see how it could possibly be true in any other sense.

If that means a foot to his groin, so be it, biting, so be it, this fight was supposed to be his ultimate embarassment and end his movie making career. Apparently Boll refused to fight anyone who had a chance of actually hurting him. It would have been highly entertaining if one of those rare nerds who compensated for their outcast status by becoming badasses had snuck through Boll's "I only want to beat up on people smaller and less able to fight than me because I'm a big German pussy" screening process.

I have no sympathy for these beaten nerds. Don't go to box if you can't box. If your opponent promises to train you, get your own training anyway. If he promises not to hit hard, assume that's bullshit because it's the oldest trick in the book.
