Nintendo Australia are wankers

I finally recieved my 'repaired' DS from NoAU. Sure, they might have tried to talk me out of RA'ing it, but I did anyway and I got it back. I figured my days of stuck pixels were over.

The work form says they changed the touchscreen, which is fine. I start it up... and as soon as the screen powers up I've got two obvious dead pixels. What the fuck? Did they even test it? My DS is now *worse* than it was before! They changed the name of the unit to 'test1'... so did they just ignore the dead pixels? What kind of standards does their warranty department have? Pfffft.

Hey, when you realise that Nintendo Australia will not be releasing Megaman ZX in Australia, you know somebody's smoking something not good for their health there.

I've had a similar situation here. I had to send my little brother's DS in a while ago due to the top screen cracking, and besides having to pay for it (even though it was the internal screen that had cracked, indicating a manufacturing fault, and not the external screen cracking from the handheld being abused), when we recieved it back, the hinge of the top section was significantly loose, causing the entire thing to shift around just from being picked up, or from opening/closing the DS.

And as for a non-hardware related complaint....one specific person from Nintendo's PR department went and handed out as freebies all the goodies that we horded at the Pokémon Tour event on Sunday to kiddies, when they were meant to be kept for ourselves as renumeration for our helping out demonstrating the Trading Figure and Card games (as well as a few freebies for the other staff), and had specifically been put to the side by the other Nintendo rep there for that purpose. >.<;;
