I have a few AVI files that are just a teeny bit off synch, does anyone know how I can correct this problem?

You may simply need to upgrade your codecs. Do you have any more information besides that they're using .avi containers?

If that is not the problem, then prepare to open up some editing software and curse out loud, beacuse syching sound properly is work.
