Line Rider

Now, there are videos out there with the Line Rider doing so crazy stuff, and with impossibly straight lines. How do people draw these lines?

Magic. That or they have a crapload more free time on their hands than I do.

There's a trick to getting perfectly straight lines - I've gotten them by accident. It's something about holding the mouse button until the line is red or something, I'm trying to figure it out myself.
