As I've hinted at in other threads, I've gotten myself a new computer. Specs are as follows:

Case: Antec Solo. No mods as yet.
PSU: Seasonic S12 430W. Quiet and reliable. Includes the EPS 8pin connector.
MB: Asus P5B-Deluxe. Removed the metal sticker over the NB heat sink. It did nothing but keep the HS from working right.
CPU: Intel E6600 @ 3.06GHz, 1.26 V
HSF: Scythe Infinity aka OMGXBOXHUEG.
RAM: OCZ DDR2-800 2GB matched. 5-5-5-15 @ 2 V running at 5-4-4-10 340 MHz
GPU: XFX Geforce 7950GT. Passively cooled, for silence.
Sound: Creative X-Fi (cannibalized from old comp)
HDD: 2x 300GB Seagate 7200rpm (cannibalized from old comp)
ODD: NEC-3520 (cannibalized from old comp)
KB: Saitek
Mouse: Razer Copperhead - Green

Note the routing of the wires to keep them out of the airflow. This helps keep the case easy to work in and cool. The HDDs are on the isolating drive trays, not suspended (not sure I want to try that yet). Needed to attach the HSF before I installed the MB, because otherwise, there's no way to reach the pins to connect it.

Hrm, I've had to install the HSF after I installed the motherboard, since the motherboard tray wouldn't slide out after the scythe was installed.

Haven't tried routing my power cables that way, maybe I should (didn't think there was enough space, never tried).

Ooh, shiny.

Why no CD-player? The Compact Disks are not dead yet you know.

Nice Ghost in the Shell statues.

The Infinity is quite a beast. If you move the PSU to the right, is it possible to mount the HSF without taking off the motherboard? Is the Infinity almost touching the plastic noise insulation on the case cover?

Is the airflow to the PSU sufficient because the huge HSF might be blocking airflow?

It might be possible to mount it without taking out the MB if you dismount the PSU and move it. Did exactly that for a Ninja install, replacing the stock Intel HSF. The infinity has about a half inch of clearance between it's top and the side of the case.

How are you cooling the case? Do you have 2 fans in the front? What type of fans are they? Is the motherboard controlling the 2 front fans?
