It is in general consensus that the Hebrew on Vader's chestplate is, like the English text on the Death Star tractor beam control, an auto-translation that represents another in universe language, such as an ancient Jedi or Sith alphabet.

Aha. I guess that is technically correct, since there aren't solely English-speaking people who are fans of Star Wars.

What? No the Andromeda galaxy is much bigger then 12000 lightyears. I believe you forgot to add a zero. But I have seen numbers as 150 000 - 200 000 lightyears across.evilcat4000 wrote:Andromeda is around 12000 lightyears in diameter. It is unlikely to be the SW galaxy since it is the closest spiral galaxy while the SW galaxy was mentioned to be far far away. How big is Andromeda?
Is it possible the SW humans are colonists from the Milky Way?

don't ask me where i got this from i dont remember but i do know i heard this somewhere, it could have been in an old Insider,theforce.net timetales or some interview i saw on TV. But i remember that George Lucas originally planned the Star Wars stroies to take place in the 22nd or 23rd centuries in our galaxy during a time of great civil war. He dicided against that since Star Trek was a very huge fan based franchise that was around for almost 10 years prior. It could very possibly be that some aspects of the original plot got caught in Lucas' planning and it would be to late to take Humans out and the audience would be confused if there was no humans in a sci-fi flick. Back in the 70's remember most "aliens" in sci'fi were "human" with only things sticking out of their heads to tell them apart or a third arm.
If not "A Long time Ago in a Galaxy far far away" means that it happend a long time ago in anohter galaxy that isnt very close hence SW humans evolved first and than came here or aliens took humans off earth a long time ago and put humans on SW galaxy or George Lucas is just reading a script that he found in his backyard in the 70's and puts humans in so we under stand it (last part of theforce.net timetales)

Alderaan is known to have been colonized by one of the first waves of human space exploration. (Ref. Art of Star Wars)Mange the Swede wrote:It would be ironic if the planet of human origin in the Star Wars galaxy was Alderaan...
And you may ask yourself, 'Where does that highway go to?'

Ugh, leave time travel to ST.
I've always imagined the SW universe, its stories and especially human inhabitants to be completely unconnected to, shall we say, "Earth Humans" and our universe. Neither universe/reaility/whatnot has (or needs) anything to do with the other.

Sorry, but they are Earth Humans, and time travel is the best way to explain why they are there.FSTargetDrone wrote:Ugh, leave time travel to ST.

Ip/i] Kinda agree with FSTD. Still not seen the evidence to support your definitive statement.Spanky The Dolphin wrote:Sorry, but they are Earth Humans, and time travel is the best way to explain why they are there.FSTargetDrone wrote:Ugh, leave time travel to ST.

Try reading this damn thread, as well as doing a search. The issue has been well covered before, and IP and I have explained our theory well enough with evidence.
