Blind fire

Post by Sarevok »

In the computer game Starlancer some fighters have a feature called blind fire. It is works by automaticaly aiming the guns when the target comes close to the reticle so a perfect lock is not needed, essentialy it is firing off center. Is there Star Wars fighters with a similar feature ?
I have to tell you something everything I wrote above is a lie.

You know that you're basically asking if SW fighter weaponry have a feature that's in like every other combat flight sim computer game (auto targeting), right?

Well I recall reading somewhere that X-Wings can fire off center so I was curious about this abilitiy.

You're confusing a "target lead" reticle with the "self-aiming guns" concept.
