Star Wars the Difinitive Version

Post by Tychu »

I was just wondering what others think about this idea. I know first hand that it will never be made to film but novel form will be cool.

Through the DC of the original trilogy movies we learn that the original trilogy was very diffrent than the one we all know and love. What if Lucas himself after Episode 3 releses his orginial original screen play of Star Wars. You know the one with all 6 movies in one long screenplay to a series of Novels. Since Lucas will be writing most of the story it wouldnt be EU like we know of other EU. I dont know i think it will be cool to see the final battle over the only Death Star over Kaashyyk and Wookies fighting and what not. Also planets will have the names Lucas first gave to them like Townani and that "U" name that Tattooine was suppose to be. And according to Lucas Ben was suppose to survive ANH.

I was just thinking what others thought of this idea and if it has a chance of happining if Lucasfilm gets some voice.

Ugh. I think it wouldn't serve much of a purpose except to confuse and misinform fans. I think Lucas wouldn't do it anyway. There is a definitive form of star wars. Its the movies. That other stuff was just a rough draft, I don't see why it would be considered definitive in anyway.
