Just wondering about Star Wars: Galaxies
Are we going to make a StarDestroyer.net clan for it?
B/c it seems various groups have sprung up for the game....so I was wondering if we'll have something like that. It would be cool too.
Cyaround,
Jason

I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who constantly says: "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action"; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a "more convenient season."

I know there has been passive talk about an ASVS PA though I suppose a SD.net one might be a tad larger.Soontir C'boath wrote:Are we going to make a StarDestroyer.net clan for it?

There IS an ASVS PA - 19th Imperial Division aka The Cleaners.
http://www.rpgplanet.com/starwars/groups/
We're near the top.
This group is easily expanded to the ranks of SD.net. Hell its an Imperial PA dedicated to the eradication of the rebel scum. It doesn't get any more SD.net.

*reads the Clone Wars site*
*does a double take*
If this is anywhere near canon, it seems to be saying that the Grand Army of the Republic is under the command of the Jedi, to the point where Jedi commanders ride in tanks. (I'm trying to picture Mace Windu standing in the turret like Rommel....) I always pictured the Jedi as being, I don't know, an order of knights, not trained military commanders and generals. My picture of a Jedi battle is like something out of Braveheart, or the ancient Scotland flashbacks in Highlander.
Oh, well. If they can have Jedi Starfighters, I guess they can have Jedi Tanks. (With the clonetroopers providing Jedi Cannon Fodder.)

The Jedi asked, "What is balance for me as a servant of the Light?" The Master replied,"Balance is not what you seek. For you it is accepting that destruction is a part of the universe."

I'll join an SD.net campaign group. What'll it be:
Vader's Raiders?
Mike's Mauraders?
We need a cool name, like my friend, Shadowknight "Laibach Skinner" in EverQuest... they have a guild, "Infinite Jest"...
Imperial Biker Scout wannabee-'Yotie

Something about Libertarianism always bothered me. Then one day, I realized what it was:
Libertarian philosophy can be boiled down to the phrase, "Work Will Make You Free."
In Libertarianism, there is no Government, so the Bosses are free to exploit the Workers.
In Communism, there is no Government, so the Workers are free to exploit the Bosses.
So in Libertarianism, man exploits man, but in Communism, its the other way around!
If all you want to do is have some harmless, mindless fun, go H3RE INST3ADZ0RZ!!
Grrr! Fight my Brute, you pansy!
