This something I benn thinking about. Are DC-series blasters special anti-armor blaster, since most of the Clonetroopers targets will be armor by their very nature (being droids). What I mean with Anti-armor is that the bolt would make the majority of its damage after it has penetrated the hard outer shell of a droid. This of course would that they would be weaker against unarmored organics.
What do you think?

I may be an idiot, but I'm a tolerated idiot

Considering how they literally blew Droidekas apart, while Padme's dinky blasters only knocked down battle droids, I'd say yes.
I wonder how powerful droid armor actually is. Okay, Battle Droids suck in durability- Jar Jar can kill them. But a Super Battle droid...I wonder if it could take civilian blaster bolts.

IIRC a typical battledroid shot (forgot who fired, maybe Padme, maybe a deflected shot from a Jedi) took off a superbattledroid's arm at the elbow. It carried on, but I guess the armor is much weaker there?

"You're prepared for a giant monster made entirely of nulls stomping around Mainframe?!"
"That is correct!"
"How do you plan for that?"
"Uh... lucky guess?"

When the smiling Jedi pushes over the droid 3PO's head was on, he fires off a bolt that hits an SBD in the back, that takes it out.The Silence and I wrote:IIRC a typical battledroid shot (forgot who fired, maybe Padme, maybe a deflected shot from a Jedi) took off a superbattledroid's arm at the elbow. Ah yes, right you are.
Doesn't make things better though. The droids' shots don't cause large explosive ground effects and should only be set high enough to kill a Jedi, yet they puncture the rear armor of a superbattledroid. Why were they armored again?
