Isn't he the guy from Batman Returns? Because if so, he has played a non-villain before.
That reminds me, how about Jim Carey as Joruus C'baoth? :D

Ummm...I either hope you were being sarcastic or that you've seen Jim Carey movies I haven't, because I frankly don't consider him a good actor for "serious" roles (yes, C'Baoth's insane, but in a menacing way, not a goofy way). The only actors I can think of who would be the right age are Ian McKellan and Sean Connery, but I don't think I'd like either of them in that role. Anybody out there got good choices for C'Baoth (preferably with links to a portrait-style picture for those of us who aren't big movie fans and don't know every actor alive and some dead)?

Oliver Reed would have made a brilliant Joruus C'baoth. Shame he's dead. Maybe a good replacement would be Brian Blessed.

Personly, although he to old now, I always though Shawn Connery would make a good Thrawn.

Though I am not sure he's good at much beyond action, death and destruction...

If not him, then Ah-nuld :D
Dolph is good in some roles. Why, as Pendragon once commented to me on the end of Universal Soldier, "it's a damn shame that the hero dies in the end". :)

I also think he pulled off a very decent villain in Johnny Mnemonic, but then again, Keanu Reeves isn't that difficult to upstage...
