I just got back from seeing RoTS a second time (probably 2 more viewings coming up) and had to add one. The scene at the opera was absolutely perfect. Palpatine played Anakin like a fiddle, building up his curiosity about the dark side while giving him hope to save Padme. I think it may be the best scene showing how manipulative the Chancellor is, and contrasts nicely with Yoda's rather uninspired advice.

OT- Vader telling Luke that he is in fact his Father

PT- Order 66 being carried out and Anakin in the Jedi Temple

ROTJ - The quiet moment in the Vader/Luke duel when Vader reads Luke's mind and discovers Padme had twins. "If you won't turn to the dark side, then prehaps she will." Just some combination of the scene and how James Earl Jones said it make it one of my favorite moments.

Obi-Wan's "You were the chosen one" speech to Anakin. It was just incredibly moving.

And seeing the skeletons of Owen and Beru.
"Oh no, oh yeah, tell me how can it be so fair
That we dying younger hiding from the police man over there
Just for breathing in the air they wanna leave me in the chair
Electric shocking body rocking beat streeting me to death"

I would say my favorite scene fro mthe OT is probably when Luke looked at the twin suns setting on Tatooine, or when Luke took off Vaders helmet.
For the Prequels, notihng from the first two comes to mind, so id have to say the scene where owen and beru hold baby Luke and watch the suns set.

i dig those twin suns.

"Tell your sister you were right about me. Tell your sister... you were right."

That line, the 'unmasking' of Vader's fearsome visage to reveal a frail old man that nevertheless is dignified, and Luke's helplessness at seeing his father die without him being able to save him, just move me. My eyes always get misty from watching that scene. The funeral pyre is just as good too.

PT - Not to meesa-too, or anything, but the final scene between Obi-Wan and Anakin in RotS. Both actors let go full blast with intensity, and the combination is simply compelling. "You were the Chosen One!" was one of my favorite moments in the trailer, and I'm glad the scene didn't disappoint(a callout here is Anakin's "I hate you!" line. Wonderfully delivered).

OT - In RotJ, but unlike most, my choice for "powerful moment" goes to Luke's final attack on Vader. He comes out screaming "Noooooooo!", and comes rushing in with blows that convey anger in some undescribable way. The way he instantly takes down Vader, slices his hand off, and the camera zooms in on his face, twisted by anger... perfect. And then, Luke throwing away his saber and turning calmly to face the Emperor with my favorite monologue from all six movies. I'd rate it as the best damned scene in all six movies.

in the OT Luke losing it against Vader was one of the best scenes i've seen in any movie. "If you will not turn perhaps she will!" followed by a pure anamilistic scream and IMHO John Williams's best work.

In the PT Obiwan's plea to Anakin was awesome. Ewan hit the mix if dispair, angre and pleading just right, I swear i could almost see the tears well up in his eyes.

PT:

When the mask closes in on Anakin's face and you hear Vader's breath for the first time in the prequel trilogy.

OT:

"I am a Jedi, like my father before me." Luke rejects the Dark Side, and thus saves the galaxy.
