Corruscant - Photographs from senate reporter Garn Maldo revealing a passionate embrace between Senator Padme (29, Human) of Naboo and Anakin Skywalker (25, Human) have been confirmed by XG-24, a cleaning droid in the Senator's appartment complex. Probably reporting on how heroic the Chancellor is, and tripping over themselves to praise his wisdom in reorganizing the Republic to better defend it.

I skimmed through the ICS and noticed that it referred to Anakin as a popular figure - "The Hero With No Fear" or something like that. How would that affect the behavior of journalists noticing Padme's relationship?

Presumably Anakin's popularity would lead to similar behaviour from media today. They report fucking everything. Shit, Ani would be voted 'most eligible celibate monk' in Cleo, Woman's Day, and so on.
And given how paparazi getcha with telephoto lenses and audio pickups these days imagine what they'ld do with a holo-imager.

Anakin and Padme do have a lot of balcony scenes so it's not unreasonable to assume it's something they often do. The Journo could be standing at the Jedi Temple and snap them.

Of course it's possiable that everyone from one Rim to the other knew about Anakin and Padme except for the Jedi who don't read such magazines.

One could think there might have been rumors and such not, only to have the Jedi Council just go "Bull...not one of us." And Palps actually intervening and insuring it's not known.

She was 14 in TPM, so 24 in AotC and 27 in RotS.
