There's a zillion and one ways to kill Jedi. They're not invincible super-warriors.. plenty of them die during the movies due to conventional methods of attack. No need to come up with contrived devices and situations.

What's with all the freakish taped blasters and lightsaber-seeking missiles? Has anyone forgotten the 100% canon Geonosian sonic rifles and cannons? And poxy Droidekas, ffs!

Molyneux wrote:I think that against the Droidekas, Jedi could not use TK because a) there was too much hostile fire to be able to concentrate on attacking withough getting Swiss Cheesed, and b) possibly they can't reach through the force field to 'reach' to the droid inside;if they also can't get a 'grip' on the frictionless surface of the force field, TK would be useless unless the shield went down.

I'm leaning more towards option (a), though.
I agree, a) is more likely.
I doubt that Force telekinesis is unable to affect objects inside of ray/particle shields.

Note that they didn't have any trouble using TK to smash droves of B1 battle droids even when in the midst of dodging and deflecting salvoes of blaster bolts, though. Perhaps the situation was a combination of firepower and terrain.. the droidekas were at the opposite end of a long, narrow corridor.
Regardless, the fact is that they always run from Droidekas. Those things own.

agreed. It was only its cheap-ass programming that allow Luke and Mara to destroy that one Droideka in 'Survivors Quest.' Had it been fully autonomous, they would not have been able to predict its search pattern and set up a trap. Even so, it was making micemeat of the two jedi all by itself.

thus

if 1 droideka > 2 jedi .: 2 droideka > 2 jedi.

Obi-wan and Qui-gon would have been owned had they not run away in TPM
...and knowing is half the battle

give those jedi a much harder time...

since the capitol ships have a "flak" setting, make the built in blaster have a fixed shotgun/flak setting, since the lightsaber can't be everywhere at once.....
