Non-Clone Elements of the Republic Military

We know that several officers (such as Jan Dodonna and Gilad Pellaeon) fought in the Republic armed forces during the Clone Wars. In fact, we see brief cameos for both in the Republic comics. We also know that predating the Clone Wars, there were some sort of Republic Navy, as evidenced by the pilots of the diplomatic cruiser (the Radiant V? not sure) carrying Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan in TPM.

It also makes sense that during the Clone Wars, non-clone elements fought alongside the Grand Army during engagements with the Separatists. With the rise of the Empire, these non-clone personnel would be transferred over to their new Imperial posts (as seen on the Venators at the end of RotS).

So what do we else do we know about these personnel? What are their numbers and rank structure? Do they merely serve as naval crewmen aboard capital ships, supporting the clone army? Or are there ACTUAL non-clone members of the GAR?

We don't know much....... we know that sector forces were mobilised and the Clonetroopers used to train militia forces and the like from Shatterpoint and so on..................

Aside from Medics and Naval personnel, there isnt much evidence of non-clone GAR memebers, although there were probably mechanics/specialists involved as well (Evidenced by ground personnel seen in the CW micro-series.)
