The staffs are nice, but they suffered a major drop in Pcm approval when they stopped being protected by the energy arcs and started with that Phrik nonsense.
The length of the staffs (and the body of the Magnadroid's and Grievous- I think) are covered with Phrik, the edges of the staff's are covered with an energy field
You've been saying that on practically any thread where that incorrect statement is remotely relevant. Where'd you hear it, anyway?

I though i heard it in the ROTS novelization and in a later thread here about the magnadroids weapons being the first ultra high canon weapons to be saber resistant.
Still at least now I know the error of my ways, still where is phrik used exactlly then apart from vaders armour?

The MagnaGuards' weapons, granted... but find and smack the putz who told you that the entire MagnaGuards and General Grievous were plated with Phrik.
Regardless of whether the electrostaffs' resistance to lightsabers was an effect of their composition, shielding, or a combination thereof, it should be obvious from simply viewing the movie that neither those bodyguards nor Grievous were anywhere nearly as resistant to lightsaber attacks as the staffs were.. the droids are routinely sliced to pieces, as were some of GG's arms.

There was the Imperial project to design and construct a bunch of high-end battle droids and heavy exoskeletal powersuits that had armor composed of a Phrik derivative. Kyle Katarn shut down every aspect of the Dark Trooper project, in its entirety, in the Dark Forces computer game. That game is, in fact, where the name "Phrik" was first introduced.

Btw, I didn't know Vader's armor was Phrik.

That's where I got confused, thanks.
Also apparently Vader's armour may be Phrik but it definetly is Lightsaber resistant since it resists Luke's saber in ESB.

It was a glancing blow at best you fool, and it cut enough to make Vader lose his temper and really go for Luke. So what source did you get the composition of Vaders armour from, you've been here long enough to know to back you claims up.
