Vader holding two lightsabres is from a scene cut from the film where Luke rolls his lightsabre to Vader from his hiding place, refusing to fight- Vader picks it up. When Luke loses it, he force pulls it back to himself.
You could say that it still happened, given Vader is clearly holding it.

Really I'd thought they changed that scene. That one was also left in the ROTJ novel. So there is a deleted scene?Vympel wrote:Vader holding two lightsabres is from a scene cut from the film where Luke rolls his lightsabre to Vader from his hiding place, refusing to fight- Vader picks it up. Ahh I see, I don't remember him "clearly holding it" though, I'll have to give the movie a second look.Vympel wrote:Vader holding two lightsabres is from a scene cut from the film where Luke rolls his lightsabre to Vader from his hiding place, refusing to fight- Vader picks it up. I just saw something when watching ROTJ. In the early stages of the groundbattle, I noticed something I haven't seen before. In the sequence after we see Leia and Han run towards the bunker, we see two AT-STs spreading out and a couple of members of the strike team. Look at the one crouching to the right, there's a shimmer around him which seems to suggest that he was composited into the scene.
