It is weak for its size and crew requirements. For the crew cost of one dreadnaught, one can staff five Carrack class light cruisers, or a small armada of smaller carriers.Ender wrote:Weak? You say the Dreadnaught is weak?

Now the crew thing I will agree on. But the dreadnaught is certainly not a weak ship.

The one in the red circle is an unfinished modell of an assult frigate.Ender wrote:The 4th one from the left looks almost exactly like an Assault Frigate.
And despite what he claims, I am convinced this
Is a Dreadnaught.
These were converted from Dreadnoughts that's why the similar nose section.
Although it's missing it's vetical tails or solar panels, you can see the bumps (the engines) at the tail section.
It describes an assault frigate.
On the other picture the second from the left is a modified Nebulon-B.
Although the picture is very bad you can see the two "wing" under the nose.
The one above the ship encircled in red, in the middle of the pic is an
MC-40 Lusla class calamari light cruiser.
Beside that the amongst the links we can see the so called Y-head corvette from the front.
If you examine it closely, you will see it's a LT-3000 Luxury Yacht, of course modified for combat.

I agree with Sardaukar.

The Y-Head scene always stood out too me because it was the initial scene from the ground battle too space battle. I kinda of thought it was in the shadow of an Mon Cal Cruiser, or painted black. Never paid too much attention too it.

It stood out to you, but you never paid too much attention to it?
I admit that I have little interest in trying to cram some of these designs into EU designations, unless there is a direct link (not a coincidence). I have reason to believe that the ship on my page (link above) may be the basis of the Carrack-class. The design scetches for that ship may have made their way to WEG, and been converted into the Carrack. There are enough similarities in the various parts of the ships to provide a strong linkage, but certainly no proof as yet. I keep looking at the different sketches reproduced in different books, hoping to find the one I'm looking for, but no dice.
I like the idea of the "Mon Cal Dreanought" being the Y-Head corvette. I will have to research that further.

I don't think the Flurry was at Endor, In TAB it is stated that the Furry just joined the fleet fresh from a rebellion on it's home planet. I believe it was called to the fleet from it's shakedown cruise because of the unexpected curiser loses suffered at Endor.

Looks nothing alike.

Howedar is no longer here. Need to talk to him? Talk to Pick.
As for the MC-40 Lusla, the picture on the TC page is taken from the X-wing and from the TIE Fighter PC game.
Check out the one that we made on www.xwaupgrade.com.
Go into the download section and see the MC-40 for yourself.
Of course it's also non-cannon!
To answer your other question the Y-headed corvette from the front looks like the LT-3000 for me! It was just a guess, maybe I'm not right!

Closer to 15 Carracks. A Dreadnought has a crew req of 16000, and a Carrack needs about 1100Master of Ossus wrote:It is weak for its size and crew requirements. I dunno. There's some kind of bridge tower or something that is foreward and slightly upward from your purple dot on the first image. If you watch a clip of the ship (the side view one, I mean) you can see this little light, and a star is occluded momentarily. There is clearly something sticking up pretty high from the ship. We see no corrosponding feature on the Y-Head corvette.
