The US military has some of the most advanced forensic equipment and skill set on the earth. They spend billions of dollars on R&D for this.Lord Sauron-Tyranus-Vader wrote:AAAANNNND????Aya wrote:Because it's not military tech and doesn't blow up planets or star systems.

It is stupid to assume that forensic technology in SW is not as advanced as all the military stuff. Hell, during the Empire, they had all the equipment to track down rebel spies.

Know example of SW Related Forensics
Powerful sensors that can dectect the wreakage of a ship LIGHT HOURS away(3 Meter hunk of metal was the biggest pieace)
CIVILIAN Sensors that can be fitted into a Door-frame yet scan down to the celluar levels
Military Sensors that scan to the sub-atomical level(Hatbox size)
Near instantious DNA pattern matchs
Thats off the top of my head
And of course Jedi +Mind readers, at least with Spice
