Clone Wars motherships?
Were there any varieties of mothership during the Clone Wars which played a role similar to that of the Executor in the OT? If so, where can I find some information on them?
A Government founded upon justice, and recognizing the equal rights of all men; claiming higher authority for existence, or sanction for its laws, that nature, reason, and the regularly ascertained will of the people; steadily refusing to put its sword and purse in the service of any religious creed or family is a standing offense to most of the Governments of the world, and to some narrow and bigoted people among ourselves.

It seems that the CIS at least used TF Battleships as Carriers for masive fighter and lander actions, and the Providence classes were the main command ships... since they didn't seem to have any other redeeming features such as the heavy guns of the Munificent and Recusant classes.
Although, in the ICS for RoTS, it was stated that Grevious's ship, the Invisible Hand, was modified with extensive hangar bays.
I don't know of any Republic special-made uber-command ships.

Something about Libertarianism always bothered me. Then one day, I realized what it was:
Libertarian philosophy can be boiled down to the phrase, "Work Will Make You Free."
In Libertarianism, there is no Government, so the Bosses are free to exploit the Workers.
In Communism, there is no Government, so the Workers are free to exploit the Bosses.
So in Libertarianism, man exploits man, but in Communism, its the other way around!
If all you want to do is have some harmless, mindless fun, go H3RE INST3ADZ0RZ!!
Grrr! Fight my Brute, you pansy!

The Mandator is mentioned in both the AOTC:ICS and ROTS:ICS, it was put in there by Saxton. So it's canon, and is worth 1000 Recuscant classes in a fight.Crossroads Inc. wrote:I don't know if its cannon or not, but the guy over at Starwars Warlords created a rather interesing Super Capital ship for the Republic Called the Mandator Class
