Clone army size?

I got bored today so I watched AOTC, at the end I decided to count the Clone Troops, here's what I found.

Each group numbered 24 x 30 = giving us 720 per group

There were 27 groups I could see on the ground
27 x 720 = 19440

There appeared to be at least 5 groups per ship
5 x 720 = 3600

We see 5 ships either taking off or firing their engines

5 x 5 x 720 = 18000 total in the ships seen taking off

GRAND TOTAL: 37440

As a note, these are just those seen on screen, the only assumptions I have made are that each ship taking off was carrying the same no of troops as the one we saw taking off, bear in mind the most I saw boarding a ship was 5 at a time, unless the whole ship totals one very tall deck there is much more. Also I didn't count the "thousands" that were in the Geonosis bit.
Also this was my first attempt at serious looking calcs, plz tell me if I did them wrong.

If you took that as a criticism, it wasn't meant that way- it shouldn't be more than a few pages back. As I recall, the title is similar to yours.
