[1] If we replace the Republic with Vong.
The arena would be a total loss for them, a 100-200 Vong warriors would be quickly wiped out, 100-200 Voxyn would be gunned down quickly as well, though it would be an amusing battle, with all of them attempting to swarm the Count and being hit from all sides by thousands of blaster bolts.
The main battle would be another total defeat for the Confederacy. The Vong would send down Skips, airskifs, and blast boat analogs to attack the ships and troops, probably some cruisers and frigates as well. They routinely use them in the atmosphere to deal with hard targets and defenses. There individual ground troops would get cut down at long range, but the shielded rakamat would be near immune to the small rocket salvos the hailfires would throw at them.
The end result would be about the same, though perhaps a few more ships would be caught on the ground by air attack. The Vong loose more infantry but less armor.

The arena would probably go about the same, though if Voxyn where on hand it would never happen.
The main battle would not go well for the Vong, there armor would more likely be swamped, and the infantry slaughtered at range. The lack of air support would be just as fatal as it was for the Confederacy if not far more so. On the other hand if the ships could get shielding online they'd likely be fine with so few craft shooting at them at any one time.

but why
As it is the only reason we are forced to endure the Vong is because the SW novel writers have exhausted every possible avenue for decent enemies of the New Republic.
Why would we want to replace Yhuzzan Vong with anything. IF the SW novel writers were so hell bent on coming up with new books they should have just made the Solo Children older and have one of them turn to the Dark Side ala the Mike Wong classic "Conquest"
If you are going to replace the vong in a ground battle, do it against the Droid Armies of the Trade Federation in the Naboo Battle, or against the Droid Armies the Confederacy used after the arena battles. (Droids each time, i'm so sick of the Vong)
