Imperial Recruitment
Are all of the stormtroopers clonetroopers? For example, if I joined the Empire, could I become a stormtrooper? Or do only the clones do that job?

We've no idea frankly. EU claims so, but whether or not that is true we have to find out in Episode III. So officially, yes you could become a Stormtrooper because it is that way in the EU, but I think it is unlikely that this will remain uncontradicted when Episode III comes out.

Question: In the Sincrusher series (where Kyp had the Suncrusher, and was blowing up stars with it), wasn't there a mention of an Imperial training world? hey took kids who were ~10 years old, and began training them to become stormtroopers?
I could be completely off on this, so if I am, could a Mod 'edit' this?

The world your thinking of is Carida, supposedly an Imperial training planet from KJA's *coff* novels.
personally I dont understand the fuss over the stormtroopers. If they are cloned, perhaps thats what ensures their eliteness and fanatical devotion to the Empire, the fact its engineered into their psyches at a genetic level. Supa-troopers!
On the other hand perhaps all those goons in white we see in the movies are not "true" Stormtroopers and are just Army and Navy personell dressed in the armor for battle, maybe the only 'authentic' troopers are the ones we see boarding the TantiveIV. They certainly seemed more effective than the troopers on the Deathstar or on Endor.
Too many unknowns. I dont believe too strongly in all Stormies being clones, the cost for that kind of production would be enormous. Much easier to conscript and brainwash recruits from Imperial worlds in the space of one year, than to wait however many years it takes a clone to be fully created and trained.
