Maybe, be I'd be more than willing to do it on his behalf. It would be long, arduous, and require many, many takes but I'd do it.verilon wrote:Necessarily.... Besides, I'm sure that Lucas would be too moralized to do anything like that himself.Stormbringer wrote:But it wouldn't be Natalie Portman.verilon wrote: I'm sure somebody off of HBO can do that independently...
Well, I'd a unplug for starters. I'm not a RayCav so I don't want to see that.Mr Bean wrote:*Shakes head, If I gave you fokes a running tablesaw buzz-saw you could probably think of somthing dirty to do with it

Sort of. There's a saying when you're pissed off that goes like this: "Fuck me sideways, and gently with a chainsaw." Good enough for ya?Mr Bean wrote:*Shakes head, If I gave you fokes a running tablesaw buzz-saw you could probably think of somthing dirty to do with it

That's what deleted scenes are for on the DVD.Master of Ossus wrote:I don't think it would add much to the film. I mean, if it's necessary for the plot, or logical, or whatever, then I wouldn't have a problem with it, but putting it in there just for the hell of it is going too far.Tsyroc wrote:I don't mean going all Jedi (althought that would be cool) I'm thinking at least along the lines of some sort of utilitarian usage like when Han opened up the Taun Taun to save Luke.

Pick a lock with it. Plain and simple. She has Anakin's sabre that he dropped when he falls into a molten pit and Obi Wan had picked it up to take back. Now Obi Wan is fending off clone fire and they're backed against a door. Tada!
Second of all, Jango could have just shot at Windu, but then again, how do we not know that he wouldn't have used the force to block the shot.

No.
Actually, I started thinking about it because Natalie Portman was jokingly complaining that she's the only one in AotC who doesn't get a lightsaber.
Still, you make a good point.

You know, I've been wondering why Jango didn't use any of his wrist weaponry? (rockets, darts, the flame thrower again, etc.)DG_Cal_Wright wrote:I've got a real lightsabre she can use for that scene.Typhonis 1 wrote:Well I can think of one way ahe could use a lightsabre but its kinda hentai

He did. He used the flamer, like you said, and the rope thing. Also, the wrist blades. The darts might not have been useful. Rockets at close range is rather foolish. So he probably used what was useful at the time, which wasn't much.Lord_Xerxes wrote:You know, I've been wondering why Jango didn't use any of his wrist weaponry? I was referring to as opposed to clumsily diving at Mace's lightsaber.

Argh? I can't edit my own posts? Cheese! Well, sorry for double posting, but here's a little info I drug out of the EGWT:
"Fett carries several types of rocket in his belt pouches, although his preffered choices are Locris Syndicates Tye 12As explosive rockets (for use on individuals)."-About Bobba Fett's wrist rockets.
The point I'm driving at is, because it's likely that Boba's armor pieces came from Jango's (Jango had a spare set of his armor in the Slave 1) that Jango probably has similar or the same equipment. Now I'm not sure how far the distance was from him to Mace, but he could have saved himself a lot of time, and his life, if he just rocketed down Mace and/or the Arena beast that charged him. If the rocket has a payload meant to kill an individual (btw, this is all assuming that's the kind of rocket he has loaded, the book lists several other types, some with a payload large enough to destroy a speeder bike, others with nerve agents, etc) he probably could have survived the blast, even at a closer range. He is armored, after all.

Its somewhat interesting now that I think about it, how the classic "pull enemy's gun out of their hand with the force" trick isn't really used in the prequels...
Though I suppose Mace really didn't need that to kill Jango anyway, but even if Jango HAD gotten his saber in hand, couldn't he have simply "pulled" it back?
That would have been funny. ; )

The main thing I think that killed Jango was the fact that his jetpack was broken when he got run over by the beastie. If that hadn't happened he could have just flown into the air and gotten away from Mace Windu. But it did break, which he had definately not counted on.

Padme's Lightsaber Skills (NOT)
Padme use a lightsaber? Cripes, NO! The only thing I want to see that woman do in the next episode is die.
If Anakin clumsily dropped his lightsaber on her from a great height and she feebly tried to pull it out of herself as her last dying act, that'd be an okay way for her to handle one, though.

it'd be interesting to see her use it in a manner much like Han.
