I always felt it was just that biologically close individuals were predisposed toward being Force Sensitive--but items of it are not purely like that. I don't think a clone Anakin would be his equal and likewise with a clone Luke. And I believe there was some EU example of a pre-Ruusan Jedi Knight having a non-Force-Sensitive kid.

I seem to recall Qui Gon in TPM saying something around the lines of, "I believe he was conceived by the midichlorians" when talking to Obi Wan in one scene. Of course, thats just what Qui Gon believes happened after Shmi told him about there not being a father but I suppose its possible.

I know, I know it's sounds stupid but we never knew anything about those masters that have passed but they still exist as shadows or ghosts.

Sure you all remember the end scene of RoTJ. Anakin, Yoda and Obi-wan stands there as a happy family.

In the OT Obi-wan had a habit of coming back and talling advices to Luke.

Maybe one of the old masters came back and "made" Anakin to Shmi.
(I don't think it was in a sexual way as we humans do but who knows?)

The proof for the facts that these "jedi-ghosts" can interact with our normal environment is in RoTJ.
Obi-wan on Dagobah as walks through the swamp to Luke grabs trees and later sits down on a fallen trunk or rock.

So it's nothing more than just guessing but really, ho knows?

amazing the way we avoid the sex angle

Post by omegaLancer »

Wow, everyone make it sure to avoid the sex angle.. Look Luke was concieve in a normal matter, yet Vader his father had no knowledge of his birth.

One could say that some external factor had a hand in clouding the birth from Vader mind, and he was strong in the force.

Who to say that Ankin mother who had no training could not be brain wash to forget the event of her getting bang up by some powerful Jedi ( Dark or other wise) trying to forfill the prophecy and then wiping the memory of the event from her mind.

Much easy to knock the old lady up in the standard way and wipe her mind than use the force to do it. At best the force method would have produce a girl ( The mom can only contribute X's to the child no Y's to be had)..

Look at the manner that the future Emperor talk to Anakin, he seem to almost behave like a proud father with his son. One can see a future bomb being plant.. Image the battle scene between the two in episode two with and then the words " Anakin I am your Father..." being spoke...

I think the Force is something that some people would have a degree of control over, but some people (such as Anakin) would have a strong degree of control which could be further brought out of them through training.

Sort of (a bit) like witchcraft or clairvoyance, perhaps. Some people have the gift...?

And obviously such people are human, and would have human parents, etc. etc.

Hey! :D I never mentioned anything about sex...

...D'Oh! Too late.

Maybe it's like Dr. Evil... you know, they saved some of his sperm in a jar, and while he was gone, Padme had kittens! Heck, maybe they were just born in a lab! (test tube twins)

Perhaps in Episode III, the new plan is to use Anakin as a donor for the clones, since Jango is dead and Boba is missing. This was speculated about in the novel (using a Jedi as a donor instead of the bounty hunter).

And without his knowledge, Anakin's DNA is used to make his kids (maybe Obi-Wan had a hand in it?)

Perhaps they had tons of sex, but he was impotent or something (or injured in some way to make procreation impossible) so the need for the saving of his bodily fluids. Who knows!

Oooerrrr! Had a hand in what? Or on what?

I don't know, and as this progresses (or digresses?) I'm finding myself not wanting to know either!! It's a bit like a Jedi starting along the light side and discovering he is being diverted off the "holy path to righteousness" into the dark side...! :)
