Master Replicas comes through again
Why don't they sell the 1:1 model of the E-11 anymore? They only have the scaled model.

I'm pretty sure there was only one Falcon shooting model- and by that I mean the one they used for "space" sequences, rather than the (undersized) one they used for shooting with actors (Docking Bay 94, Death Star Hangar Bay 321, Echo Base hangar).skyman8081 wrote:The link didn't specify, is that the ANH or ESB/ROTJ Falcon?
Unless it's the SE, in which case it would be the ESB falcon, the CGI MF used in the SE of ANH was based off the ESB model.

Well, there was the ANH model which was 68 inches and the TESB/ROTJ model which was 32 inches. The TESB model had new hull boxes and a new landing gear (although the original model was also used and modified, i.e. a new landing gear was added as per the newly built model). Oh, and a 6 cm model was used for the scene in TESB when the Falcon was attached to the ISD bridge tower.Vympel wrote:I'm pretty sure there was only one Falcon shooting model- and by that I mean the one they used for "space" sequences, rather than the (undersized) one they used for shooting with actors (Docking Bay 94, Death Star Hangar Bay 321, Echo Base hangar).skyman8081 wrote:The link didn't specify, is that the ANH or ESB/ROTJ Falcon?

The site does specify that it is the one from Empire Strikes Back.
Why does he keep looking at you in the same way a starving man looks at a packet of peanuts?

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

They say, "the tree of liberty must be watered with the blood of tyrants and patriots." I suppose it never occurred to them that they are the tyrants, not the patriots. Those weapons are not being used to fight some kind of tyranny; they are bringing them to an event where people are getting together to talk. -Mike Wong
But as far as board culture in general, I do think that young male overaggression is a contributing factor to the general atmosphere of hostility. It's not SOS and the Mess throwing hand grenades all over the forum- Red
