The Spin Off movies
While browsing Wiki for information about the Star Wars Holiday Special I came across the links to two other Star Wars movies. Caravan of Courage: An Ewok Adventure and Ewoks: The Battle for Endor.
Now I am a little confused about these movies is there any continuity between them and the official films. Also what level is the canon for these films since they are technically films are they given top level canon?

Even though it dosent answer your question it does make sense for another question you might have
These movies are also available on DVD if you want them. But yes they take place before the OT. Really i dont think they can be a year before ROTJ. Mainly because the Empire had that system locked down for a good amount of year while it had the Death Star and its shield being built up
anyways in the United States the movies were made-for TV. For some reason Europe decided that they were meant for the big screen and showed them, i dont know how long but they did. In theaters it was known as Caravan of Courage and In the States The Ewok Adventures. Lo and behold they did fairly well that any real Star Wars fan should either own a copy of the DVD or have some old taped off TV VHS of it
Edit: Oh and the small girl who is one of the main Character(her name escapes me right now) appeard as a news anchor in one of the wierder EU books

I'd hardly call the Black Fleet trilogy "one of the weirder EU books", considering the existence of jewels such as Darksaber and the Crystal Star. At any rate, the character you mention probably appeared in Shield of Lies, the second book.Tychu wrote:Edit: Oh and the small girl who is one of the main Character(her name escapes me right now) appeard as a news anchor in one of the wierder EU books

I thought Cindel was in "Tyrant's Test" (Book 3)?
