"Form Zero" Question

Post by Cos Dashit »

Form Zero, unlike most other forms, does not teach a Jedi how to use a lightsaber, but when to use one.
Is Form Zero only used with lightsabers, or does it also encompass when and when not to use the Force (for physical means, that is)? In AotC, Anakin uses the Force to grab Padme's fruit, and he stated that Obi-Wan would be angry if he saw him doing this. In the wiki article (I know wiki is not wholly trusted here), it only mentions Form Zero being used with a lightsaber; is it called something else when the Force is involved? Or is it a different sub-discipline altogether, and if so what is it called?

I'm also curious as to whether this applies to blasters, and other weapons as well.

Also, if you have other sources on Form Zero, I'd like to see them. Thanks.

As far as I'm aware, Form Zero is a witty nickname for killing a conflict via negotiation without needing to ignite a 'saber. It's not an actual form.

I'll check through my sources for you when I get a chance, though.
