Where to buy the OT Box Set (w/ original theatrical release)

Post by Rommie2006 »

Ok I know it is probably very late to be asking this question,

But where can I buy the OT Box Set released in Sep 2006 that has the original theatrical release (along with the 2004 edited version)?

I'm an international customer, so it has to be purchased online. I've tried Amazon, but it seems that they only sell individual DVDs, no sign of box set so far...

But in the first place does a box set exist? Or were they released as individual DVDs?

Thanks for helping me out!

I didn't buy it as a boxset. I bought each film for $20 AUD each, which would have come to about the price a boxset would go for down here (~$60 AUD).

I don't recall them being released as a box set.

I don't think the versions with the original release on it come as a box set.

What's wrong with that?

All three films in..."one swift stroke" and no gaudy piece of cardboard to worry about

They did at Best Buy when they were first released, but that deal is now over.

Your only hope is eBay, but you should just buy them individually, it'd be cheaper I think

Other than the Best Buy-exclusive that FedRebel mentioned, there has never been such a box set released.

So you'll have to buy them individually.
