When I play as a rebel, in the yavin party I would get Han, chewie, luke to get on a ship or near a planet of the Empire-controlled system which has the diplomacy to me. I would take them and destroy all military units causing almost all of the planets to turn to my side. Giving me an instant boost from the beginning of the game.

Oh yea, I like doing the ending when the only thing left to do is destroy the Rebel Base. COMMENCE PRIMARY IGNITION!!!

I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who constantly says: "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action"; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a "more convenient season."

Also the Razor's Kiss, from the novel Iron Fist by Aaron Allston, destroyed in the same novel.
Yes but Razor's Kiss wasn't one of the "original 4" SSds, It was pretty sad how that one was lost.

Not quite as sad as the Lusankya though.

What was almost as sad as how the Lusankya was lost at Thyferra, was how long it took for the Republic to finish the vessel. Or do you mean how the NR lost it to the Vong? Either way that great ship was wasted.

And I won't even bring up the Eclipse SSDs in the Dark Empire series, a Force Storm took out the first proud vessel and then R2-D2 got the second one. Sickening.

The saddest lost of a glorious Executor class was the mighty INTIMIDATOR. Lost to YEVETHANS and renamed PRIDE OF YEVETHA...., and lost under this name
urgh...

As with all the star wars games....they rank last in realism but are just a hella lot of fun..

About the realism:

I can still remember defeating 3 VSDs with 2 Nebulon-B Frigates...

IIRC Guardian is the new name for the Lusankya after it was captured.

No, the Guardian was captured from Admiral Gaen drommel 13 years after Endor, by New Republic operatives. (Yes, the NR had TWO Executors prior to the Vong invasion..)

Shit that's right because Wedge got the Lusankya for the "Enemy Lines" duology, damnit can't believe I forgot that one.
