Imperial Starfight Corps WTF
So, I was on wookiepedia today, and decided to learn more about Imperial Starfighters, not just TIE's... anyone see what's out of place on this page?

Of course I do, it's obvious. That quote at the head, describing how the Empire uses its fighters is totally incorrect.General Schatten wrote:So, I was on wookiepedia today, and decided to learn more about Imperial Starfighters, not just TIE's... anyone see what's out of place on this page?

Just because all the information doesn't have anything to do with the poster, but we shouldn't take all that information down.Vehrec wrote:I saya leave it up. It's a damn fine recruiting poster, even if it is inaccurate.

It's more fun to be an Informant. I have no need to be a stormtrooper or a pilot, I'm content being one of the backblading Informants.General Schatten wrote:Now do you understand why you should've joined the Imperial Armed Forces, Karmic?

What? Men arrest him on charges of conspiring to stab his superior officer in the back, also, we'll take his statement as a confession... luckily I was smart enough to know there were traitours in the midst and leave my recorder on.Karmic Knight wrote:It's more fun to be an Informant. Appolligies, Schatten. So long as I keep getting paid it's just a figure of speach.General Schatten wrote:Not proper, but he's being paid to be my Yes-Man, and thus, I am his Commanding Officer.Fingolfin_Noldor wrote:Huh.... since when are informants Imperial Military proper?General Schatten wrote: What? EDIT: Are you referring to this as well?

Anyway, I was thinking the 'exotic creatures' was a dominatrix and/or bestiality thing.
The Probe Droid was like tentacle rape. Especially 'make it bite'. Weird.

EDIT: to keep this on topic somewhat...
Everyone, Do you think that the Empire does waste its' starfighters for no reason, or do Imperial Commanders use TIEs effectively and dangerously?
Based on some sources, like the X-wing games and books it seems that TIEs are decently important.
Also, do you think that TIE bombers are shielded? There are contradictory sources, the Rogue Squadron II game guide says thst TIE bombars are shielded, and Rogue Squadrons II and III seem to show that, especially III where if you shoot a TIE bomber the laser scatters in a white flash, the way it hits a shield (and TIE bombers need to be hit 6+ times to go down)

It's already been concluded that all TIE's have some form of navigational shielding or some rediculously strong armour for an interceptor, otherwise, they couldn't have entered the asteroid field without fear of micrometeor impacts, either way that would make them invulnerable to most modern day conventional guns and missiles, which is why nBSG Vs Star Wars would have the Empire raping the Colonials. However, some TIE's are equipped with a combat shield, such as at least one of the TIE's that attacked the MF in ANH.
