Penny Arcade Links to "Talifan"

Post by Darth Fanboy »

Poe's famed video seems to have caught the eye of one Tycho Brahe.

http://www.penny-arcade.com/2007/04/16

the link dressed as " fanboy provocateuse" (no relation to this poster I assure you ;-)).
"If it's true that our species is alone in the universe, then I'd have to say that the universe aimed rather low and settled for very little."
-George Carlin (1937-2008)

"Have some of you Americans actually seen Football? Of course there are 0-0 draws but that doesn't make them any less exciting."
-Dr Roberts, with quite possibly the dumbest thing ever said in 10 years of SDNet.

That's gonna get Poe a ton of hits. :)
"They're not triangular, but they are more or less blade-shaped"- Thrawn McEwok on the shape of Bakura destroyers

"Lovely. It's known as impugning character regarding statement of professional qualifications' in the legal world"- Karen Traviss, crying libel because I said that no soldier she interviewed would claim that he can take on billion-to-one odds

"I've already laid out rules for this thread that we're not going to make these evidential demands"- Dark Moose on supporting your claims

Tycho really likes Traviss' Commando novels.

I don't really know what his take on the whole clone numbers is, but I'm sure he finds the video amusing.

Wow, I remembered Talifan as being a lot more objectionable then it really is. He's probably heard it a thousand times, but good work, Poe. :)

Tycho's talked fondly about Karen Traviss before, it's a little relieving that he at least knows there are people who object to her SW work. Kind of ironic that Tycho link-dressed the short film as "fanboy provocateuse" Karen Traviss considering the sort of army Traviss is trying to build.

Perhaps our Mandalorian Supercommando is after the boot-I mean bounty- to her left...

What? I can pretend can't I?

Perhaps Galvatron is attracted to wealth and power?*

But I agree with LMSx that I remember Talifan being much more provacative the first time I saw it.

*For certain values of wealth and power that would be appropriate for an EU writer.

Galvatron I have it on good authority that she has a fetish for Temuera Morrison, 3 million times over. *rimshot* If you put a paper bag over her head and a Clonetrooper helmet over yours, you'll have a good shot of actually pulling it off.

Good, her waist and hips measurements look like they're within healthy limits, but... are her breast measurements really as the breastplate suggests, or did the cosplayer mold the breastplates to suggest she had bigger boobs than she really did?
Please do not make Americans fight giant monsters.

Those gun nuts do not understand the meaning of "overkill," and will simply use weapon after weapon of mass destruction (WMD) until the monster is dead, or until they run out of weapons.

They have more WMD than there are monsters for us to fight. (More insanity here.)
