Please correct me if I'm wrong, I've had some trouble finding the dementions of a Proton torp, but from memory I guessed a hieght of 1.2m and a radius of 18 cm giving it a volume of .1 m. Then using the refrence that the torp. tubes on the ECS are large enough for a TIE. So again these calcs are gonna be fucked up, and offical figures would be nice as hell.
WEG states that the TIE/ln is 6.3x6.4x7.5 and while it is moslty filled with empty space, the torp would not, so lets use the estimate of 302.4 cubic meters. So they fire torps 3024 times larger, if we use that with the 200 megaton figure for proton torps, we get it firing torps 604.8 gigatons strong. More than enough to overwhelm almost all ST ships, without using Turbolasers!
Can you help fix these calcs?
