When was stated the 'units' were single soldier?

If we were to attempt to play Devil's Advocate with the fallacious solider=unit bullshit, we have to reconcile the fact that the Republic ordered another thousand ships from Kuat immediately after Geonosis, whom had already started making even bigger ships.

I vaguely recall an official book stating that their were 200,000 individual Clone soldiers at Geonosis, but I can't recall where. And General Schatten is right: it makes little sense for the Republic to purchase that many ships if they don't have the troops to man them.

If we presume that those thousand ships were Acclamators (some might have been larger and some smaller, but the Acclamator appears to have been the standard at the start of the war, with the Venator becoming the backbone of the fleet for much of the conflict), they would have a capacity of 16 million troops combined. No doubt they could be manned with far less, but if we interpret the "200,000 with a million more well on the way" (or whatever the Kaminoan told Obi-wan) as referring to individual soldiers, then immediately after AotC, it makes little sense for the Republic to immediately order ships for 16 million troops.

Looking back now I obviously wasn't clear, but yes, those thousand more ships were Acclamators, it can be found in the description of the Acclamator in the SWRPG Revised Core Rulebook in the Vehicle Section.
