Fett vs. Fett

Post by Jason von Evil »

This idea of a versus came to mind several days ago, but I never got around to posting it. Anyways, let's say Boba fett (post ROTJ, maybe?) is approached with the idea of him fighting against a then unnamed bounty hunter in a battle of grand scales. Later, he discovers that his opponent is infact a cloned Jango. Yeah, I know it may seem corny, but if Kamino and it's clone labs still exist at this point, they could easily clone Jango.

Setting: Coruscant, during the night time and with heavy traffic. They don't have a time limit, the battle ends when there is only one Fett.

Weapons: Each Fett has the weapons they normally carry, their armor (obviously) and any special doodads the armors come with. In addition, they get a blaster rifle that can fire pretty far.

Prize: A crapload of money, atleast ten times what they would normally get for a bounty. The Jango clone would probably want to reclaim his title as number one bounty hunter, while Boba would probably want to wipe the floor with the clone of his dad.

Misc: Yes, they do have to fight, so no "They would just team up the become the Fett Bounty Hunter corp" or crap like that.:P Also, they can use speeders, sky cars and the like, but not ships of any kind.

So, who would win this?

I'd go with Boba, simply because he was raised by Jango to be a bounty hunter from day 1. Another clone of Jango wouldn't be as good.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, the clone would have all the skills of the real Jango.

It'd still be a victory for Boba Fett. He's pulled off tougher victories than Jango ever has. Hell, he took apart an Imperial Garrison to get to one bounty. Jango has never done anything that tough.

Wasn't if Boba's ultimate goal to become an even more skilled bounty hunter than his father??

Boba. If Boba had all the skills of Jango, then surely, he would have learned more by the time he started bounty hunting.

Read the book of AotC. Boba was born unaltered and trained to be BETTER than Jango by Jango. Boba has all his "dad's" tricks plus a load he invented himself.
