go here

They removed the 'handle' in the back to make it more realistic. While I thought it was a great idea for kids to use, it's also making me more inclined to believe I was right a year ago. They're making the toys more with the collector in mind. heh. I ain't complainin' or nuttin. Heh. Also, the cockpit of the TIE from 95 is the same as the Squint they released last year. Which means that if this is the same mold minus the big junction box, you can use this cockpit with interceptor wings. heh.

I hate computers. Anyone that can use them, I hate you to. Just so were on the same level here.

Solar panels are a bit short.

They should have released it like that back in 1995 instead of the modified remold of the 77 Tie toy...

Damn, limited edition. Even if they are making these with the collector in mind, they still screw over a lot of fans by making them so damn hard to find.

It's not a toy, but assembly is quite simple, and the price ain't bad either:

The TIE Fighter mold was before they really cared about scale. Though the cockpit seems fairly sound. Now, the Squint and the Bomber seem pretty much scale all the way around. Panels and all.

Man, I really want that, but the 29.99 price tag is not good. That thing would be $19.99 if it was not one of those damn exclusives :x .

PS, on a somewhat related topic, you can get the Republic Gunship for $24.99 at K-B toys (most Star Wars stuff are now half price :D ).

It also looks wider than it should be or it's just because of the shortening of the solar panels :x

.....I still prefer my Galoob TIE Fighter.... I think it was galoob...lol

I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who constantly says: "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action"; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a "more convenient season."
