Couple of SW questions

Post by Dark Primus »

Ok so shoot me for not reading the EU.

While playing a SW RPG some time ago I came across several names and factions from the Imperial Remnant.
Names such as:
Admiral Teradoc
Admiral Rogriss
Pentaster Alignment
Corporate Sector Authority

This is what I have heard from each one of them.
Corporate Sector Authority:
* Bought 250 Victory Star Destroyers Mark I from the Empire, possible hundreds of other vessels.
* It controls 30.000 worlds.
* It is an alliance of huge Corporations.
* CSA helped build up the first ESSD

Pentaster Alignment:
* Lead by Moff Ardus Kaine
* It controlled a vast amount of space (how much?)

Admiral Rogriss:
* Just another warlord? (Or was it he who waged war on other Imperial warlords?)

Admiral Teradoc
* Took command over Imperial forces after Palpatines death?

I can't answer for the first three, but the corporate sector authority is not part of the Remnant. It is independent.

Yes but didn't they have strong ties with the Empire?

Another warlord, gave himself a new title also "High Admiral" or something.

Loyal Imperial until the Adumari campaign, where he left over moral reasons. Led the Imperial campaign against Zsinj, then agaisnt Akbar for Zsinj's territory. His losses to Akbar decreased his stature amongst the ranks, while Pelleon was a rising star.

Answers to several of your questions can probably be found in The Completely Unofficial Star Wars Encyclopedia

High Admiral is actually a real rank.

However, Teradoc never had it--he simply promoted himself from Fleet Admiral.

Yes, very much so. Palpatine allowed them (key word: allow) to control the territories they had originally been granted directly in exchange for a hefty portion of their revenue. The CSA enjoyed a relationship with the Empire similar to the one enjoyed by the British East India Company to Britain.
