Force Precog vs. Paradox

Suppose someone, to test out Force Precog, asks a Jedi Master if he will turn right or turn left then does the opposite of what the Jedi Master says. How does that work out in terms of Preog and Paradox?

Prehaps force precog works by allowing you to see a parallel universe, thereby allowing you to make a choise that allows you to change the circumstances of the coming situation.

They never say Jedi are always right with their predictions.

And anyways, what kind of lame-ass Jedi Master would actually say "left" of "right"? They're wise and cryptic, they'd do it with much more style, and cover their asses, to boot:

IMPUDENT KNIGHT: Master, tell me this: which direction will I turn, right or left?

WISE MASTER: You will walk in that direction which you must walk.

Alternatively:

WISE MASTER: You will walk in the direction opposite that which I predict.

or:

WISE MASTER: Shut the fuck up and get me a sandwich!

It can be that the future they predict is the future that will happen given no forwarning on the part of the person that makes the action. So if the person isn't told the prediction, the prediction is accurate. If the person is told the prediction, then he has the ability to change the direction and so change what will happen.

Precog is not perfect for a variety of reasons.

An example would be someone who is attacking a Jedi at speeds the Jedi can barely comprehend. The Jedi senses an attack to his left and begins to block. The attacker notices the Jedi is begining to block the side he was going to attack on. The attacker then changes his attack pattern and strikes Jedi on the right.

Precog can be helpful but its entirely possible for the Jedi to do something that causes the precog event to be known to others. With this knowledge people can adapt and change their tactics.

Doesn't matter which direction they say, as long as they are facing you. Then, no matter which direction they go, you can say "You never asked if it was your [direction] or my [direction]." Jedi logic ownage!

Precog is perfect for approaching danger, but farseeing is really, really hard, and often inaccurate.
