This also goes along with the TPM part about force control, but when Anakin looses his saber, Obi-Wan is able to recover it by just streaching out his hand. Obviously nigh impossible at the speed at which he was going, meaning that with little notice Obi-Wan could deflect the sabre into his waiting hand, showing a great deal of force control.

Don't forget that if any non-Jedi tried that stunt and managed to catch it, the impact would probably break his hand, showing that the Jedi can reduce the relative speeds of two objects, or he can create impromptu armor using only telekinesis.

We already knew they could defend themselves. Look at Obi-Wan and Maul falling quite a ways onto some metal girders and getting right back up to fight in TPM. I would have broken some ribs, if not my back, and the fal would have stunned me.
