They were shaking because they were going full reverse against the tractor beam (the cockpit lights were also dimming/flickering, too), and IIRC, they stopped shaking when they powered down the engines. We'd have to find out how far the Falcon and the X-wings were from the Death Star to see if the shaking occured at the same distance, which I don't think they did.Darth Yoshi wrote:You also have to remember that the Falcon was vibrating while trying to escape the tractor beam. I'm not saying that the Falcon didn't shake when it passed through the Death Star's magnetic field. I'm just saying that I don't think we were able to see it because of how that scene was edited.
