Why bother with a Carrack?

Just use and Executor class and be done with it.

1.76 PT shields, 250 GT missiles, 4.0625 PT broadsides + Ions, 6.25TT HTLs that can fire 2x a second, 144 fighters with KT lasers and almost 200 MT missiles.

Trust me, there is no such thing as overkill.

Get a Lambda-class shuttle. For something of its speed, it's poorly armed by SW standards, but it still has enough punch to take on ST ships.

Hehe, glad yall pointed that one out, I already sold an old YT-1300 for the price of a good used stormtrooper helmet. Guess its time to send my secretary to kessel again.
