If the guy is still harping on his "tech has degraded since the days of the OR" argument, just point him to examples of a BDZ in the EU that clearly show that Darksaber is NOT the maximum that SW ships can put out.

Well it explains why he refuses to debate fairly (using the less explicit darksaber example on one hand while refusing the more-explicit AOTC ICS calcs on the other, even tho the latter has greater validity.)

Were I you, I'd stop humoring him on everything but two issues:

1.) The canon sources and his general lack of science. This is being adequately responded to by Wilkens and others, so I dont need to comment here (nor could I do so nearly as eloquently as Wilkens has

)

2.) the ICS. Allowing him to ignore it is a gross mistake, and simply puts you on the defensive. By forcing him to deal with it (by refusing to allow him to ignore it) you can force the debate onto some more fairer ground.

you know with some of those debators I just wonder why people's heads don't explode after hearing the stupidity of their remarks.....

Then again it would be interesting to see.

Another thing I would like to see would be the Shick/Clockwork Orange institute for dealing with moronic debators....

If it weren't such a pain in the ass (and I'r recieve too much spam for it) I would grab an account at that board just to shut the little boy up. Despite the fact that I repeatedly told him I wasn't talking about specific heat ALL of his retors involve the assumption that I was talking about specific heat.

Connor: Yup, i know i should have just made him deal with the fact that the ICS is canon and it does not need to follow his rules in order to be valid, from the start of the debate. But its so much more fun to kick their ass with their own rules. Anyways, if the fucktard does not come up with a single coherent and actually intelligent argument to counter my argument why the ICS is canon, im simply going to accept it as a concession since morons like that after a while arent worth the time anymore.

Wilkens: Indeed, but so far this is the only persistant little troll dicksucker that forum has and frankly, its not worth it to sign up just because of one moron. For a larger group of morons sure but a single one, not really.
