Does anyone have the images/clips of that? I'm collecting it for a very good purpose

IIRC, I think that was just a glancing shot.Captain Lennox wrote:I think when are Arvel Cyrnyd was hit by that laser cannon in one of the Executor's superstructure trenches.
I believe in a sign of Zeta.

Yeah, I know. And that X-Wing exploding in front of you gotta hurt too.Spanky The Dolphin wrote:IIRC, I think that was just a glancing shot.Captain Lennox wrote:I think when are Arvel Cyrnyd was hit by that laser cannon in one of the Executor's superstructure trenches.

What purpose? To prove weak TLs, or strong A-wing shields? Anyway, those TL's were most likely the least powerful on the Executor, point-defense cannons.

Actually its to prove that the visible component isn't lethal. A supplement to the "damage before contact" incident.
I did examine ROTJ btw, and its there. You see a bolt fire from the lower-left hand portion of the screen, and it passes right through the right-front (its facing us, so the A-wing's right is our left) side of the A-wing, right by the corner of the nose.

Nope. Watch it in frame by frame. You can see the bolt just passing through the A-wing. I remember it because its been brought up a number of times on SB before, too.Spanky The Dolphin wrote:IIRC, I think that was just a glancing shot.Captain Lennox wrote:I think when are Arvel Cyrnyd was hit by that laser cannon in one of the Executor's superstructure trenches.
