Boba Fett is the greatest... Jango taught him all he knew, and he learned even more...... all others suck

Boba Fett is the best bounty hunter. He has all of Jango's natural ability, and far better training and equipment (having taken Jango's possessions and added newer models and such, and having been trained for considerable time by Jango). He also has years of experience to back him up. My favorite bounty hunter is probably Bossk or Zuckuss. Both of them look so cool, even though they didn't do anything.

Depends on what you mean by better....

do you mean better at catching their marks or do you mean deadlier?

If thats your question why is Zam and Dengar on the list. Oh and Jango, he took down the entire bando gora cult and its twin red lightsabre weilding head-dark-jedi-chick in Star Wars Bounty Hunter. And then he was beheaded by Mace

Well, in fairness, he expected to use his jet pack for that fight, but discovered, a little late :P , that it was damaged... OPPS!

Boba was tolerated by Vader! Thats the mark of the best bounty hunter to me!

Ha! He was not only tolerated by vader, but Vader even seemed to take a bit of humor to him! I could almost SEE the smirk/wink on Vader's face when he offhandedly pointed at the group of bounty hunters, to "No one in particular" (IIRC, anyway; i've not seen any SW OT movies for...oh....a year, I guess...) "NO DISINTEGRATIONS!"

Boba Fett. As bad ass as Jango might have been Boba put an entire Imperial Garrison out of action, ref - Tales of the Empire/New Republic. As stated Boba not only had Jango's natural talent, he was an unaltered clone, he was taught from birth to be the best bounty hunter he could be. Thats why Jango had Boba created to see how good he could have been.

Vader walked right down the line of bounty hunters during the briefing. He then stopped right in front of Fett, pointed directly at him, and said "No disintegrations." It wasn't a generalized statement.

I think its a bit hard to make a comparison, Jango seemed to go for more "bring them in", while Boba appears to go for more "bring back atleast 60% of the carcass". Capturing live prey is much harder then hauling a corpse, so their return ratio is going to be off.

Bombing an entire ship to get Senotor Amidala is "bring them in?" I'd hate to see Boba's methods, then.

Nute Gunray wanted her dead. If he brought her back alive he'd get a reduced ree or none at all.

I know. Just wondering where he got the notion o fJango being a "bring them in" type. (Note: I haven't read the novels set in the time of the prequels, so it may be something I just haven't gotten to yet.)

I would say Boba appears to go for more about the income value.

I like Jango, he's just cooler, love that blue armour.

Though I think IG-88 is cooler than all of them.

I'd vote Durge as my favorite.. the Fett's are cool but they seem to have this family curse about crappy death scenes (or apperant ones in the case of Boba)

Personaly o prefered Boba's armour, it seemed lived in and used more if you know what i mean. Jango's suit was too spit and polished for my liking.
