Was the Soverign Star Destroyers build at KDY?

I was wondering if the Soverigns were build at KDY since they are the mostly company to produce those since they made the Eclipse, Executor Class and the imperial class SD

We don't see much of it, but I would say yes. KDY had a near-monopoly in the Imperial time on the market of really fat battleships.

They were built by KDY at Byss.

When exactly was the Soverign designs introduced? If it were TTT time or DE and up time then it would be unlikely that KDY built it.

Exactly. The Byss Yards are state-run operations, but construct vessels under the auspices of what is left of Kuat Drive Yards loyal to Palpatine and predominantly KDY designs.

Would KDY have the plans to the Sovereign and would they be able to build one at KDY shipyards, saying that they were not NR controlled, but doing this without the Empire's knowledge (sort of like the Lusankya being built at KDY but the Executor being built at Fondor at the same time, assuming the Empire did not know of the Lusankya) Would this be possible?

I doubt anyone save the KDY Palpatinists at Byss had access to the Eclipse-class or Soveriegn-class plans.

IIRC, the Sovereign-class and Eclipse-class ships were built at Byss Naval Yards, which were run by the KDY Imperial loyalists.
