Where was the Allegiance and Vengance ISD produced/designed

Post by Lord Jax »

I was wondering if the Allegiance and Vengance was designed and produced at KDY since they are the most likely people to produce them and design them cause of the Imperial Star Destroyer was made there.

Why? It's just a yes or no question, not an opinion.

But was Kuat building ships for the Empire at the time of Dark Empire?

Edit: The Allegiance's shipyard production was never established, could be KDY but unlikely due to the timeline.

Everything with the ISD/Executor canon KDY-brand tower is almost positively built by KDY.

Did Interdictors have that kind of bridge tower? Sienar Fleet Systems built them, IIRC. I know they had a bridge tower, but I think it only had one sensor dome on it.

Anyhoo, Kuat seems the most likely choice.

No, Interdictors have a much flatter tower.

The Vengenace was custom-made at KDY for Jerec.

The Vengance was a custom job and Kuat may have been the only shipyards at the time that could've built the 10km ship.

The Alligiance was supposed to be built at the time of DE and KDY was not producing ships for the Empire.

I've seen no evidence that the Vengeance was a unique, custom vessel.

What if Jerec simply purchased a stock KDY battlecruiser to outfit as a command ship for his personal fleet?

In the NEGTC, it says it was custom-made for him, since he shelled out enough credits.

It says no such thing.

Odd. I remember reading it was a custom design in a book. Perhaps it was the old EGTC, or the SW encyclopedia.

It's possible he had it outfitted in some manner unique to the Vengeance, perhaps some additional equipment for a fleet flag. In fact the quote implies that it was not a one off class.

I am aware of that, I was just responding to Illminatus' rebuttal of my assumption of the source of a certain piece of info.

The original EGTC doesn't mention Jerec, and I'm fairly certain that the SWENC doesn't either.

I don't remember the sources of things I read over two years ago, and don't have a copy of to check.
