Also Grevious fought with lightsabers. That would indicate he may have some force powers.

You don't need Force powers to use a lightsaber. There's nothing mystical about them.

Grievous is a fucking pussy. I have this feeling that all they did was kidnap some Klingon and put him into some sort of cyborg body armor. :D

I agree. I hated seeing Jedi being beaten like that by some guy in funky armour.

As Vyympel noted, he killed only one relatively weak Jedi (I question whether the second one, the one thrown out the way Aayla Secura was, died), MAYBE two.. and that was largely by surprise. The fact that the rest of them escaped tends to suggest he got his ass reamed. (What do you expect from something that fights like a damn monkey?)

Indeed. The one he killed was a padawan only.

The Databank is clear that the guy he grabbed from the face died- probably crushed his head; K'Krukh (wounded), Aayla Secura and Shaak'Ti all lived, however.

What that idiot was doing runnning at him with his sabre raised above his head, I had no idea. He practically deserved to die.

I'm sure in the movie they'll turn him into some uber villain who slaughters an entire regiment of Jedi then assrapes Windu, and finally gets an 'ironic falling of a catwalk whill charging at someone your trying to kill' death from Yoda or Anakin

Given they already have spoilers of him fighting Obi-Wan in the beginning of EP3...I somehow doubt this turn of events is going to happen.

Time Frame of the Clone Wars Microseries?

Post by paladin »

What was the time frame of the Clone Wars micro-series? It seemed to be several months at most. But the comments the announcer for Cartoon Network made were to the fact that the micro-series was for the whole Clone Wars.

It's only looks to be a few months...especially in light of the whole Anakin/Obi Wan interactions.

And i feel it'll go something like this:

Obi Wan and Grevious fight viciously. Grevious, winning, quips something about 'if you only knew the power of the dark side', to which we're expected to go 'OOOOH! HE SAID THAT LINE!' Obi Wan regains his strength and handily beats the snot out of Grevious, even though he couldnt mere seconds before. After defeating Grevious, Obi Wan lowers his swords--of course he'll have two 'cuz it's the Matrix Star Wars--and hold out his hand to the weakened Grevious, who'll preted to accept, but lunges at him with a dagger. Obi Wan dodges, Grevious hits the catwalk railing--cause they're fighting over a pit of death you know--and Grevious falls to his doom. Padme calls Obi Wan: "Master Obi Wan, are you ok?"

He replies: "I'm only half dead"

"What about Grevious", she asks for no reason. "He's all dead" he responds. And we're supposed to go, 'Oh, funny'.

I'd be willing to bet my last dime on it. Or else they wouldnt play up Grevious so much. They almost did something similar with Obi Wan's death-pit fight with Darth 'two-seconds of screentime' Maul in TPM. Of course, i could be wrong, but i doubt it, seeing as Lucus is running out of ideas.

Then explain the holes both Jedi made in the acclamator's hull.

Reflexive use of TK field, followed shortly afterwards by death from gross tissue trauma. They also could easily have been shot by the droid army outside.

Edit: or if I misunderstood the question, just reflexive use of TK field

Doesn't have to. StarWars.com already states that Aayla survived.

It was Aayla Secura and crushed-face guy he threw- also, you don't see holes, just two puffs of smoke/dust.

You're right. No holes.. but they still damaged the hull - I question whether organic bodies could actually physically damage a hull like that by themselves (especialyl when tossed upwards against gravity.)

Dialogue?

Well, thank God the old wrinkled Conehead chinaman didn't die. I was rooting for him and he seemed somewhat cool. I've heard that the books described him as a kick ass fighter. Or at least that's what my friend told me.

Grevious kicked ass, although his name is kinda not so good, kinda like Professor Menace or Dr. Bad-dude or something.

Padma was just hot.

The Anakin vs. Assaji fight was awesome, too bad Assaji wasn't a hot chick :(

Does anyone know any site with the episodes?

Quite so. She's a sexy little thing in a skintight bodysuit, and it was cold as shit so you know you could've see her nipples clear as day :D

...God i'd have cut off my right hand to be a spider droid in that episode.

Course i heard a rumor she'll be topless in the next movie, so i may not have to resort to such drastic meaures 8)
