Having just read 2 weeks ago "the joiner king", I can say this:
Force lightning keeps on geting pussified (even Mara Jade uses it as a shock on a weapon).
The bugs arent evil.
some romantic plotlines (Jacen'Tenel Ka, Jaina/Zekk) are slightly advanced and acted upon.
It's quite good, I have to say.

A question from the ignorant:

has there been ANY talk about Imperials and the Remnant, how it's doing, is it growing in popularity, size, diminishing etc.? Now when the Imps are no longer just your run-of-the-mill bad guys nobody seems to care about them, except when some rogue Imperial elements show up (the Second Imperium) and then they're just pussified.

I want some major Imperial ass-kicking, damnit.
