Sorry about using "meters" when I should've used "kilometers" when describing the Death Star II.

Anyways, I found a link to an "analysis" of the Death Star's size in its Wikipedia article, while doing research because I intended to use the mobile battle station in a fanfic, a few years ago. (If you're curious, no, I didn't believe the author's argument that the Death Star is smaller than we thought; ultimately, I left out such details when describing it in my story, as it was irrelevant.) When I checked the Wikipedia article after viewing this thread, I noted that the link was removed, along with any questions about the Death Star's size; I guess the guy who posted it (a Trektard?) is eating a flock of crows right now. (Note: I tried to find that "analysis" through Yahoo! so other board members can see it for themselves, but was unsuccessful.)

I believe you speak of Sarli's analysis. It's pretty stupid, and copy pastes a fair amount of stuff from RSA's website, including the fucked up scaling.
