I love when people get pissed off that Jedi aren't portrayed realistically.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.
Hit it.

Hey I don't have a problem with that but.. giant Thwomps.. c'mon.
Besides, I want to see Jedi act like they do in the movies, not like some evil combination of Mario and Samurai Jack.

I think you might be stretching the comparison a bit far. I wasn't fond of that particular episode of the series, either, but the most of the rest of it was quite good; Jedi power levels are rather off-the-wall throughout, but Mace's episode is the most egregious.

Ditto. I'l still watch, cause hell, it's Star Wars on TV!
This is why every Star Wars product in the last decade has sucked and why Lucasfilm is so unapologetic for it.

I will certainly not be watching it. Not because the character design is so horrible (and it is), but because I'm sure that the writers put just as much effort into creating a quality product as the animators. The best thing in the ads so far has been the background scenery.

Also, on a more personal level, I would like to ask what the living fuck is up with cartoon Dooku's scooped-out, double-pointed whale-fluke beard? What the fuck were they thinking? Even the most unskilled, baked-out-of-his-gourd caricaturist could do better than that. For fuck's sake, Christopher Lee's face has always been pointy, and his beard in Episode 3 clearly comes to a single point, as opposed to the melted spatula used in the cartoon.

Well, I better concede on the count Dooku beard issue. The pics in Ender's thread definitely portray him as having a pointy beard as opposed to the deranged grampa-wizard beard he had in the publicity photos I had seen.

Still looks like shit, though.
